1) Who we are

Formulaite ("Formulaite," "we," "us") provides an AI-powered R&D software service that generates formulation recommendations and reports for wellness product development based on text you submit. We are not a manufacturer, lab, CDMO, or regulatory agency.

2) Information we collect

• a) Account info: name, email, company name, role (if provided).
• b) Inputs you provide: product goals, constraints, intended market/region, ingredient preferences, target claims, and other text you enter into the Service.
• c) Outputs: AI generated reports and other results produced by the Service.
• d) Usage data: device/browser info, IP address, log data, pages/actions, and approximate location derived from IP.
• e) Billing data (paid tier): subscription status and transaction metadata. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3) Information you should not submit

Do not submit sensitive personal information, including personal health information (e.g., symptoms, diagnoses, medications), financial account numbers, or other confidential personal data. The Service is intended for product R&D inputs, not individual consumer medical advice.

4) How we use information

We use information to:

• a) Provide the Service and generate outputs from your inputs.
• b) Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service (quality, reliability, and safety).
• c) Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• d) Communicate with you about the Service (account notices, security notices, changes).
• e) Prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse.
• f) Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5) How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• a) Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tooling, and payment processing providers (under confidentiality/security obligations).
• b) Legal and safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud/abuse.
• c) Business transfers: if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information and other users cannot access your information.

6) AI processing and model improvement

We process your inputs to generate outputs.

By default, we may use de-identified and aggregated usage and output quality signals to improve Service reliability and evaluation.

If we ever use customer inputs/outputs to train or fine-tune models, we will (a) do so only where explicitly permitted by the customer, and (b) provide a clear opt-out mechanism.

7) Data retention

We retain account info, inputs, and outputs to provide you access to your history while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing team@formulaite.ai. We may retain limited information as required for legal, tax, security, or dispute resolution purposes.

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information—these are backed by Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services encryption standards.

9) Cookies and analytics

We use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function.

10) International processing

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

11) Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
